13TH ANNUAL LOMPOC CAR SHOW | FRIDAY 5-7 P.M. | SATURDAY 9 A.M.-3 P.M.| RYON PARK | FREE

For hot rod enthusiasts, Lompoc will be holding their 13th Annual Car Show this weekend.

Friday night will be the cruise going from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday is the car show starting at 9 a.m. at Ryon Park.

The event will be full of hot wheel racing, pedal car drag racing for kids, BBQ and many more activities.

ATASCADERO SUMMER 2014 CONCERT SERIES | SOUL SAUCE| LAKE PARK BANDSTAND | 6:30-8:30 P.M.| FREE

If you’re looking for some soul music, head out to Atascadero’s Saturday Music in the Park Concert Series.

This Saturday “Soul Sauce” will be striking up the band at 6:30 p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand.

Soul Sauce has some seasoned pros whose members have opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Junior Walker.

The concert is free and everyone is welcome to come out and dance to the music.

SUMMER BREEZE COMMUNITY WALK | JIM MAY PARK | SANTA MARIA | SAT. 10 A.M.| FREE | THEME: TACKY TOURISTS

Lace up your walking shoes and head down to the Summer Breeze Walk at Jim May Park in Santa Maria.

Walkers of all ages are invited to get active with the Santa Maria Parks and Recreation Department.

The Community Walk Series is part of encouraging regular health and fitness routines.

Join the fun and dress up in theme tacky tourists, and you could win a prize for most creative outfit.

No prior registration is required and the stride starts at 10 a.m. Saturday.
