Adopt-A-Thon and Festival Kicks Off Sunday in Goleta
If you’re an animal lover or thinking about adding a new furry friend to your home, there’s a fun event for you this weekend in Goleta.
The Wags ‘n’ Whiskers Festival is sponsored by C.A.R.E4Paws group and it’s
the largest adoption event in the Tri-Counties.
The festival takes place Sunday, August 10, at Girsh Park in Goleta from 11am to 4pm.
There will be a low-cost vaccine and licensing clinic starting at 9am.
Animal lovers can come to meet adoptable dogs, cats and bunnies from more than 25 animal shelters and rescue groups.
Guests can also learn about the latest in animal wellness from local pet service providers.
