Lompoc Standoff

A domestic violence incident led to a 45 minute police standoff in Lompoc.

38 year old, Johnny Argel is accused of assaulting his girlfriend. Police say after the assault Argel ran to a home he shared with his grandmother. He held officers to bay with a semi automatic handgun.

Argel finally gave himself up and his rifle turned out to be a replica. He is being held on a one million dollar bond.
