Large Bear Spotted In Montecito

A driver in Montecito reported seeing a large bear Tuesday morning.

The bear was spotted around 3 a.m. on Ortega Ridge Road. Fish and Game Officials have been notified.

California is in the middle of a historic drought and wild animal sightings are becoming more common as animals look for water.
