Santa Barbara Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

A Santa Barbara man was arrested yesterday accused of attempted murder.

Police had responded to a robbery call on February 22nd, when they arrived they found the victim, a 34-year-old male suffering from non-life threatening stab wounds.

After some investigations police arrested Jose Alexander Perez, 40, for the crime. The victim was a friend of Perez’s estranged wife. Police say the attack was unprovoked.

Perez was booked in Santa Barbara County Jail, his bail is set at $2,500.00
