Lompoc Girl Surprised With Make-A-Wish Trip

A young Lompoc resident had her wish come true last night.

Eight-year-old Carina Castaneda of Lompoc, who lives with leukemia, was surprised by Make-A-Wish with a trip to Disney World.

For the surprise party, Carina was dressed in an “Elsa” dress from Disney’s “Frozen” and was greeted at Mi Amore restaurant in Lompoc with signs, a cake, family members and friends.

Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties has granted over 1,300 wishes since they started in 1985.
