Man Dies After Ocean Rescue
A man died in the hospital after being found face down in the ocean Tuesday.
A man’s body was seen floating in the area of Surfer’s Koll across from Ventura Harbor.
Multiple emergency rescue crews responded to the beach just after 3:30 p.m. and tried to revive the man.
Ventura County Fire officials said Advanced Life Support procedures were able to help the man regain a pulse and then he was immediately transported to the hospital where he later passed away.
Authorities said the man is between the ages of 25-30 years old. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
