Bald Eagles Making a Comeback on Channel Islands

Bald Eagles are inhabiting the Channel Islands once again after more than 50 years of being endangered.

A nesting pair of eagles has just been found on the San Clemente Island. This new discovery means bald eagles have re-established territories on five of the eight islands, according to the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service.

Experts now believe the eagles will return to all the islands within the next few years.
