Pro-Youth Movement Prepares to Put on Anti-Violence Workshops
Members of a pro-youth movement said they aren’t going to wait around for a judge to decide whether Santa Barbara gets a controversial gang injunction.
Instead they are planning a series of Saturday workshops to prevent gang and youth violence.
The workshops will be held July 19, Aug. 16, Sept. 20 and Oct. 18. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 1500 State St., Santa Barbara.
The workshops are free and are held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Spanish/English translation will be provided.
