Elderly Couple Narrowly Missed After Car Crashes into Home
An elderly couple narrowly avoided injury after an SUV crashed into their home Monday night.
The crash happened at 9:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of 16th Street.
The driver of the SUV, a pregnant woman, was heading northbound on 16th street when she crossed over the center line and crashing into the home. She also crashed into the home’s carport and continued on to hit a neighboring home before stopping.
The woman was taken to Sierra Vista Hospital to check for injuries. No one else was hurt in the crash.
