A Free Slurpee Adds a Tasty Treat to 7-Eleven Day

The calendar says July 11 to most people. But 7-Eleven customers know the date 7-11 is a time to enjoy a free Slurpee.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. special cups are being filled up with Slurpee drinks as a summertime treat for the young and old. At the 7-Eleven on Milpas the line was out the door. Some of the kids were coming in tired and looking for a refreshment after taking part in the Junior Lifeguards competition at East Beach all day.

Others had been brought over with the staff from the nearby Boys and Girls Club.

All had smiles.

7-Eleven is also encouraging customers to log on to their phone app and get more free treats in the days ahead.
