Kobe Basketball Academy Returns To Santa Barbara

Before he addressed the five hundred campers, Kobe Bryant addressed the media on day one of his Kobe Basketball Academy at UC Santa Barbara.

There is plenty to talk about as the Lakers do not have a head coach and they are actively pursuing several free agents as the team is coming off its worst season in franchise history.

Bryant said he would love to play with free agent Carmelo Anthony and the Lakers have offered the superstar a maximum four-year deal. Melo is reportedly deciding between the Lakers or staying with the New York Knicks.

Bryant also said that he would welcome former Lakers player Byron Scott as the team’s head coach.

After playing in just six games last season due to injuries, Bryant says he feels great physically.
