Guadalupe Students Launch Rockets

Some local students played rocket scientist Wednesday. Students in the Guadalupe school district had a blast testing their knowledge of physics.

The out-of-the-world event took place at MacKenzie Junior High School. Third, fourth and fifth-grade students got to participate.

The lesson taught the students about different parts of a rocket, as well as Newton’s laws of motion and trigonometry.

Many agreed that they had a pretty good time at the launches.
