Mesa Verde Organic, Vegan Restaurant Opens in Santa Barbara

A new vegan, organic restaurant has opened on the Santa Barbara Mesa featuring a unique menu with primarily locally harvested ingredients.

The Mesa Verde restaurant is at 1919 Cliff Dr. (where the old Cliff’s and Co. was located.)

The restaurant property is completely remodeled with reclaimed wood, solar panels, and many creative architectural features.

From the kitchen a Mediterranean-style menu has been prepared by chef Greg Arnold.

He says, “it encompasses the entire Mediterranean region. Morocco, Egypt, South of France, and Sicily. The whole Middle East and bringing those flavors all together, which is what’s unique. It’s not Spanish foods and it’s not Middle Eastern. It’s a mix of everything.”

The restaurant also has its own equipment to create raw organic pressed juice daily.
