CKE Shifts Some Workers from Carpinteria to Anaheim
Some employees based at CKE in Carpinteria, the parent company of Carl’s Jr, and Hardee’s, will be reassigned to offices in Anaheim.
The headquarters locally has about 120 workers.
CKE says it is not shutting down the Carpinteria office and it is not leaving California. About two years ago, there were reports that CKE was considering a move to Texas.
The Carpinteria building has a lease until March of 2015, but the company may renegotiate for another two years in a smaller space.
The company says the employee shift will create greater efficiencies.
CKE also has corporate facilities in St. Louis.
