Santa Maria Seeking Public Input

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – City leaders in Santa Maria are encouraging residents to take part in a survey which will help determine what issues are most important to the general public. The questionnaire is part of a process to develop priorities for the city’s federal and state funded programs.

The survey is available in both English and Spanish and can be accessed through the city’s website www.cityofsantamaria.org or by picking up a printed copy at City Hall, located at 110 E. Cook Street.

“What we’re looking for is everything from youth services to senior services to housing to rentals to employment. Basically all the things that make a community thrive,” said Rosie Nrez-Provencio, Grants Specialist.

The public has until September 30 th to complete the survey. When participating, members of the public will be able to see current voting results. Final results will be compiled by city staff members and eventually passed along to members of the City Council.
