West beach Cleanup

While local residents might be divided in their opinions of last nights fireworks show at the harbor — everyone was happy about the clean up effort.

City parks and rec. crews were out at six this morning, cleaning the entire waterfront — emptying the recycling bins … picking up trash and raking the beaches smooth of everything left behind including firework pieces.

After the clean up … the beach looked as good as new … even though thousand of people were on the sand the night before.
