Largest Gathering of Central Coast Zumba Fitness Instructors
Town Center Mall in Santa Maria became host to a Zumba marathon fundraiser with 27 instructors teaching for around two hours.
The ‘Zumbathon’ fundraiser helped raise funds for Domestic Violence Solutions in Santa Barbara County.
Jesse Marquez, a full time Zumba instructor in Santa Maria at the Kings of Swing, organized the event and said he’d like to make it an annual event.
“Me and my mom stayed inside of the shelter for three months when I was 12, I felt it in my heart that I needed to do this,” Marquez said.
