Wrap-Up to Dons Season
The Dons accomplished more than they could have imagined in the girls high school basketball season. Although they fell one win short of a Division 3 State Championship, Santa Barbara captured it’s first-ever CIF Southern Section crown as well as a CIF SoCal Regional Championship.
The 30-6 Dons lost to Modesto Christian in the State Championship game 64-55 but should be strong the next couple of years as four of their five starters will be back next season.
