Dons Whip Lompoc in Semifinals

It was over after one quarter.

Santa Barbara raced out to a 22-2 lead after one quarter and pounded the Lompoc Braves 84-36 in a semifinal contest at the Holiday Classic hosted by the Dons.

Santa Barbara will face Newbury Park in Tuesday’s championship game at 7:30 p.m.

Bishop Diego will play rival Carpinteria at 3 p.m.

At the National Prep Classic in Santa Maria, San Marcos fell in the semifinals to Texas powerhouse Prestonwood Christian 74-63.
