Mobile Drilling Rig Catches Fire

CAL Fire is investigating what sparked a mobile drilling rig to go up in flames Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 2:00p.m. on South El Pomar Drive.

Officials say fortunately no one was hurt. Damage is estimated at $250,000.
