CDC Creates Web Page for UCSB Meningitis Updates

The Centers for Disease Control has created a website with the latest details on the outbreak of meningitis at UCSB.

The site was updated as of December 23, with details that a foreign vaccine used at Princeton University is being considered for the UCSB campus.

The site also reports no new cases since November.

Four students were sickened by the disease. One student lost both of his lower legs which had to be amputated.
