Lobero Theater Reopening Sneak Peek
The Lobero Theater was first built in 1873 and 140 years later it has a new look.
“I think this building deserved a face lift. It really was overdue… And I am just really glad we put the time and effort into it,” said Todd Jared the Technical Director of Lobero Theater.
The $7 million dollar renovation focused on the audience and their comfort.
“We lost about 70 seats. We went from 680 to 604 and that’s because the seats are now wider and there is more leg room so it’s much more comfortable,” said David Asbell the Executive Director at Lobero Theater.
In addition to the larger seats, customers will find expanded bathrooms as well as heaters and air conditioner which is the first for the theater.
