“100 Grand” Exhibition Underway in Santa Barbara

“100 Grand” is an exhibition featuring 100 works of art for $1,000 or less at Sullivan Goss Gallery in Santa Barbara.

The exhibit contains works from 80 artists both emerging and established.

The types of art vary from your average painting to abstract, and sculptures to photographs.

This is the fifth year this exhibition has been underway and curators say it provides an opportunity for locals to broaden their collection without breaking the bank.

“For us, we know it makes us happy to have something beautiful on the walls every day,” said contemporary curator Susan Bush. “So we thought how can we do that and make it accessible to everybody. So we came up with this idea.”

The gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and you can view and purchase the current collection through Feb. 2.
