Robert Redford to Receive Film Festival Honor

Hollywood legend Robert Redford will be receiving the American Riviera Award as part of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

A special tribute will be held at the Arlington Theater February 7.

The award honors an actor who’s had a strong influence on American cinema.

Others to receive that award include, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Annette Bening and Kevin Bacon.

Redford also established the Sundance Institute, and the famous Sundance Film Festival for independent movies.

The Santa Barbara Film Festival opens on January 30th.
