Santa Maria police looking for negligent shooter

Santa Maria police received a call that shots had been fired at the apartment complex located at 1240 W. Bethel St. on Dec. 15th.

The investigation revealed that during an argument Teodulfo Rodriguez Ramirez discharged a firearm into the air multiple times in a school zone. He also possessed stolen property.

The Santa Maria Police Department is looking for public assistance to locate Ramirez. He is considered armed and dangerous, so it is advised to not approach him. If he is located, please contact authorities immediately.

He is believed to be driving a 1994 Honda Accord with license plate 6HZL148. He is described as 27-year-old Hispanic male from Santa Maria. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 140 lbs.
