Dons Win 2nd Hoops Tournament

Santa Barbara is off and running this season. They routed West Ranch 65-44 in the championship game of the Gold Coast Tournament. Earlier this year the Dons captured the Lompoc Tournament title.

Sophomore Amber Melgoza scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as she was named the Tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Senior Desirea Coleman scored 15 points and was named on the All-Tournament team.

Santa Barbara is now 8-1 on the year.
