Two Multi-Car Accidents Slow Traffic in Ventura

Several accidents are slowing the morning commute for drivers on the 101 North through Ventura.

A nine-car collision in Ventura has 3 lanes blocked. The accident took place around 7:30 a.m. on Northbound Highway 101, just north of Victoria Avenue. CHP and Ventura County Fire have responded. Traffic is slowed, tow trucks are en route, and there are possible injuries.

Another crash on Highway 101 north of Vineyard Avenue is slowing drivers in Ventura. This incident was reported by CHP just before 8 a.m. and involves six to seven cars. The number one and two lanes are closed at this time. Those on the road should expect delays.
