Taua Picks UCLA
He looked like he belonged on a college football field a few years ago. Soon he will get his chance to shine in Westwood. Lompoc senior Ainuu Taua has picked UCLA over other schools such as Oklahoma and Mississippi.
The six-foot, 290 pounder will play defensive end for the Pac-12 Bruins. Taua helped Lompoc win a CIF title in 2011 and led them to the semifinals each of the past two years. He had seven sacks each of the past two years.
In January Taua will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
