Gauchos Volleyball Swept in First Round NCAA Tournament Game
After losing a tough first set 26-24, the Gauchos never threatened again as No. 9 San Diego swept UCSB in a first round NCAA Tournament women’s volleyball game.
The Gauchos were soundly beaten in the next two sets 25-18, 25-14 as UCSB ends up 18-11 on the season.
UCSB won a co-Big West Championship in Nicole Lantagne Welch’s first year as head coach.
