UCSB Welcomes Back Cal

For the first time since the inaugural game at UCSB’s Event Center in 1979, Cal returns to Santa Barbara.

The arena is now known as the Thunderdome and the Bears visit will be the first by a Pac-12 school since UCSB blew out USC in 2002.

Cal enters Friday’s game at 6-2 and a perfect 10-0 lifetime against UCSB. The Gauchos are 3-3 this year and 0-2 so far this season against the Pac-12(Colorado and UCLA).

Tip-off is 7 p.m.
