Silverhorn Jewelers in Santa Barbara Donates to Help Pet Owners
Silverhorn Jewelers has made a generous donation to the Diana Basehart Foundation to help struggling pet owners with their bills.
A check for $2500. was presented by owner Carol Ridding this morning in the store on Coast Village Road.
The Diana Basehart Foundation funds veterinary visits, and pet food costs for those in need with pets, on a case by case basis.
A recipient, Alice Tropper said, “We’re paying it forward now and we are volunteering and helping the foundation. It is a wonderful foundation.”
Tropper was holding her dog Tootsie who recently needed expensive medical care. “She will live a long healthy life with the help of the Diana Basehart Foundation,” said Tropper.
Silverhorn Jewelers has also donated to the Marine Mammal Center, and the Wildlife Care Network.
