Nordhoff Promises Physical CIF Final

The Nordhoff Rangers are confident that its defense can slow down El Segundo’s high-scoring offense this Saturday night in the CIF Northwest Division title match-up.

The Rangers are the defending champion and they hang their hat on a physical defense that rarely gives up the big play. Nordhoff’s pass defense will be tested though against an El Segundo Eagles team that put up 59 points last week against Tri-Valley League champion Oak Park.

Nordhoff has won 18 straight games at home and it will be a cold night in Ojai on Saturday night. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
