News Channel 3 Pleased To Give Back Award

News Channel 2 was pleased to give back a cash award from the Santa Barbara fire station.

General manager from News Channel 3, Mark Danielson, handed over a check worth $500. The money was presented to the station after winning first place in the International Association of Fire Fighters Media Contest.

The video that was awarded was from the scene of the deadly bridge accident that took place back in January of 2012 in Buellton. The award was giving to the reporting and photography that best portrays the dangerous work of fire fighters.

News Channel 3 was awarded first place out of 285 entries submitted.
