Big West Honors Big Al
It hurts so good for UCSB’s Alan Williams. After missing the previous two games due to back spasms, the junior tied a school-record with 39 points last Friday and today he was named Big West Conference Player of the Week.
Williams also tied a school-record with eight block shots in an 83-64 home victory against South Dakota State. He also pulled down nine rebounds.
Williams and the Gauchos have a huge week. They play at 18th ranked UCLA on Tuesday and they host Cal on Friday.
