One Person Extricated From Vehicle After Accident

One person involved in a three car accident was extricated from a vehicle Tuesday afternoon near San Marcos High School.

Around 1:15 p.m., three cars crashed causing one minor injury and one moderate injury. One of the patients was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated by Santa Barbara County firefighters.

One lane of Hollister Avenue near Magna Vista was shut down during the accident.

The cause is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
