Anti-Deportation Heckler Grabs President’s Attention

A heckler grabbed President Barack Obama’s attention in San Francisco Monday.

The president was talking about immigration reform in the spirit of Thanksgiving when a heckler shared his opposition to deportation.

The heckler was an undocumented student from South Korea.

Obama said reform isn’t just a south of the border issue.

A New Jersey couple visiting Santa Barbara for the holiday said they are citizens of India, but have lived in the U.S. for years on visas.

They don’t like the uncertainty.

Some people said the issue can’t be rushed.

Others said they have been waiting for too long, and would like politicians to consider how former President Ronald Reagan handled the issue in the 1980s.
