Two young and talented vocalists from Orcutt have been chosen to sing at Carnegie Hall next year.

The performance is a showcase of the best high school singers in the US and Canada.

About 10,000 students applied. Ernest Righetti High School senior Nick Paulus and junior Ashley Taff were two of the 300 that were invited.

They will be going to New York to rehearse with master conductors.

They’ll see a Broadway show and tour the Big Apple.

On their last night, February 9th, they’ll sing in the famous Carnegie Hall before top professional musicians.

Both Nick and Ashley have been singing since they were young. Both are now looking at futures in music.
