7-Eleven Opening on Milpas St. in Santa Barbara

7-Eleven is nearly finished with a new location on the Santa Barbara Eastside.

It will be located at 420 N. Milpas St. The site was formerly a Fast Lane auto repair business.

A green fence is up around the property while construction crews modify the building.

The site is on a very busy street with an estimated 25,000 vehicle trips a day. The neighborhood is densely populated, and several schools are within walking distance.

7-Eleven had been looking for a location on Milpas St. for months before securing this location.

Earlier this year 7-Eleven also opened a new store in Isla Vista.
