Old Mission Santa Barbara Getting Makeover
Old Mission Santa Barbara is getting a makeover.
Crews started assembling scaffolding in front of the church facade.
The restoration is part of the Save America’s Treasures grant that was awarded to the mission by the National Park Service.
Cement pieces that have fallen off will be replaced and the towers will be repainted.
The hope is to have the project done by Christmas.
