Shred Event! Protect Yourself From ID Theft by Shredding Old Documents

NewsChannel 3 and Union Bank are planning the next shredding party and this time it will be happening in Goleta.

The shred event is set for Wednesday Nov. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. You can find the massive shredders behind the Home Depot in the Camino Real Marketplace.

Just bring all of your paperwork with sensitive information, such as old bank and tax records, and we will shred them for free.

There is no need to remove staples, paper clips or rubber bands. There is a six banker box maximum.

It’s our way to help protect you and your family from identity theft.

Items that cannot be accepted are cardboard, common trash, hazardous materials, plastics or metals, CDs, DVDs or binders.
