Oxnard Police Looking for Killer

Oxnard Police said one person was shot and killed around 9:30 Tuesday night in the La Colonia neighborhood.

It happened near the corner of Colonia Road and McKinley Avenue.

Investigators have not determined whether it was gang related, but gang violence has been reported on the block before.

This is the 11th homicide of the year in Ventura County’s largest city.
