UCSB Soccer Honored by Big West Conference

UCSB men’s soccer did not lose a Big West Conference game and today they received plenty of league honors including top freshman and coach awards.

Ismaila Jome was named the Big West Freshman of the Year after scoring two goals with six assists for the Gauchos. Tim Vom Steeg claimed his fourth Coach of the Year honors after leading UCSB to a 7-0-3 league record.

Achille Campion and Peter Schmetz were named All-Big West First Team while Fifi Baiden was named Second Team.

Goffin Boyoko and Nick DePuy were Honorable Mention. DePuy, Jome, Drew Murphy and Josh McNeely were all named to the All-Freshman Team.
