Food recall hits local stores

Another recall involving chicken has been made, this time it involved pre-made chicken salads and wraps.

For food shoppers like Anthony Mejia he says its the only lunch he has. Hes talking about his “ready-to-go chicken salad” from Trader Joe’s.

California-Based Glass Onion Catering makes the chicken salads and wraps which have recalled more than 180,00 pounds of the product after it was linked to a few cases of E.coli infection.

So far 26 people have been affected in nearby states including California, 15 of them say they ate products which traced back to Glass Onion Catering, which supplies store like Trader Joe’s with food.
