UCSB Women’s Basketball Lose Exhibition Game
The Gauchos are glad this one does not count. UCSB lost 69-66 to NAIA power Vanguard in a women’s basketball exhibition game at the Thunderdome.
UCSB trailed by as many as 16 points in the second half before battling back to tie it up at 65 with under two minutes to play. Santa Barbara attempted a three-pointer at the buzzer but the shot was partially blocked.
UCSB hosts Occidental this Sunday in the season opener at 2 p.m.
