Man Badly Hurt in Santa Barbara Stabbing

A 31-year old man was stabbed several times Tuesday night in an attack that led officers to the 800 block of Bath Street. The victim appeared at a home at that location and asked residents to call for help.

The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Details on his condition have not been updated as of Wednesday afternoon. The victim does not have any known connections to gangs, but police have not yet determined if the incident is connected to gang violence.

Police investigators were following up on undisclosed evidence Wednesday afternoon, but have not announced any arrests for the attack.
