Santa Maria Brewing Company is Expanding

The small Santa Maria Brewing Company is working to become national.

They took their first step by moving into a bigger building in Santa Maria.

Thewarehouse is way larger than the 1,100 square foot building they started from in Nipomo.

Now, they plan to add a tasting area, brew new and more beer and, more importantly, expand to restaurants and some national chains.

Owner Byron Moles hopes the company will become public one day and outgrow this new building as well.

He plans to donate 5% of their sales in the first year to Wounded Warriors.

The only thing the company has left to do is get their permits.

After that, they’ll be able to set an opening date.

They are selling Founder’s Growlers engraved with a name for about 100 dollars.

It holds about a half gallon of beer.

The profits will go to helping the brewery purchase new equipment.

Growler owners will also be able to come back to the brewery and refill them for $5.

There will only be 3,000 of them.

If you want one, you can visit the brewery or their website by clickinghere.
