Pedestrian Sent to the Hospital with Serious Injuries
Santa Barbara Police officers are investigating a car versus pedestrian traffic accident that sent one person to the hospital.
The collision happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Salinas and Cacique streets in Santa Barbara.
Police officials said a woman was driving her children to school driving north on Salinas.
The block 100 block of Salinas is blocked off with police tape while police investigate.
The pedestrian was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. Police said the road closure will last for another hour and half.
