Protesters Upset Over Police Killing

Dozens of people showed up on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara Thursday night.

Protestors said they were protesting police brutality.

Several held signs and chanted “Killer cops off our streets.”

They included friends and relatives Brian Tacadena.

The 46-year-old was shot and killed by Santa Barbara police in early September.

Investigators said Tacadena was armed with a knife.

Protestors believe officers could have avoided using lethal force.
