Bishop Diego Football Preparing For Showdown With Oak Park
Most people thought that the top two teams in the CIF Northwest Division would not meet until November 1 in Ojai. But it comes a week early thanks to Oak Park’s 23-3 upset win last week against Nordhoff.
Bishop Diego has been the top team in the division all season long. They are not only 7-0 but four of those wins have come by way of shutout. The Cardinals defense will be tested on Saturday by the Eagles talented senior quarterback Chandler Whitbord. Oak Park is 7-1 and moved up to No.2 in the rankings after last week’s win.
Game time Saturday night is 7 p.m. from Santa Barbara City College.
